KIC officials met with HE Indian Ambassador

Kuwait Kerala Islamic Council Central Committee officials met with HE Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Shri Sibi George.

He said that expatriate organizations have a great role to play in raising the issues facing the expatriate community at the official level and seeking solutions, and the Indian Embassy will extend all support to such interventions.

He said steps had been taken to streamline all embassy services and official efforts to obtain amnesty had borne fruit.

He promised all possible support to resolve problems in the workplace and the victims of labor exploitation & also his cooperation for the projects that would help job seekers.

The organization expressed its appreciation and gratitude for the positive engagement of the Embassy of India in issues related to expatriates and expressed its willingness to utilize the services of Viqaya Volunteers, the Voluntary Service Division of KIC.

KIC Chairman Ustad Shamsuddin Faizi Edayatoor, President Abdul Gafoor Faizi Ponmala, General Secretary Zainul Abid Faizi, Treasurer ES Abdurahman Haji, Vice President Ilyas Moulavi and Secretary Nisar Alankar were present at the meeting.
