IMA office bearers met with the newly appointed Ambassador of India to Kuwait

Indian Muslim Association (IMA) and IMA YouthWing office bearers led by IMA President Mr. Shamvel Parvez, met with newly appointed H.E. The Ambassador of India to Kuwait Mr. Sibi George and congratulated him on assuming the charge in Kuwait as well as spearheading several pro-community initiatives. accompanying delegation included IMA Vice President Mr. Sharafuddin B.S., IMA General Secretary Mr. Jafar Sadik, President IMA YouthWing Br. Riyaz Ahmed, YouthWing General Secretary Imran Justnaik, IMA Central Advisory member Mr. Hasan Noor and Coordinator for Salmiya Unit Mr. Javed Ansari.

Mr. Sibi George was very receptive and positive on the concerns and the issues discussed during the meeting and IMA office bearers assured their participation & support in all the community related activities initiated by Embassy of India, Kuwait.

IMA Vice President Mr. Sharafuddin B.S. briefed about activities of IMA and highlighted IMA’s participation in Indian Community Support Group which was formed during covid-19 pandemic early days to respond to the basic and essential needs of the Indian Community in Kuwait under the guidance of the Embassy of India Kuwait.

Indian Muslim Association (IMA) is one of the oldest associations in Kuwait strives for promoting Islamic education among Indian Muslim expatriates through educational, cultural events and social activities. IMA also promotes goodwill, friendship among fellow citizens of India and cultural groups particularly among Indian expatriates.
