Diwali is the time to decorate your home to give it a festive look. There many ideas that can help you enhance your house interior and exterior. If your bedroom lacks brightness and you do not have time to repaint before Diwali, put a bright painting, throw in some bright colored cushions, wrap a cotton decorative sari to your curturn and the room will look different and brighter without much time spent. Try putting up diyas, candles, flowers decoration, torans, string lights, Rangoli idols of Ganesha and goddess Laxmi and they may change the look of the house. Use waste cans to make candles holders, wrap this can with colored paper and place candles in it. Place candles in your living room, on the exterior wall. If there is a garden in your house, decorate your yard with diyas and candles make sure they do not harm plant. Bells can be creative by using conventional and unconventional bells and diyas to decorate one corner of your house. An assortment of bells and diyas of different color and sizes hung and placed at different heights will give an interesting effect. You can also heights your house with flowers and lightings and create a cozy corner in your house. Every year, you customarily invest in traditional diyas to light up the home. This year, while you are still figuring out the impressive Diwali decorations that would make your home stand out and light up festivity like never before. Add a Rangoli, the common Rangoli themes for Diwali are holy symbols like Mangal Kalash, Goddess Laxmi footsteps at house entrance, Om, Swastik, Lighted Deepak, Shree etc. To enhance the beauty of Rangoli place a lighted Diya at the Centre of the Rangoli. You can also use flower petals and leaves to enhance the beauty of the Rangoli.
