Diwali is the Indian festival of lights celebrated by the Hindus, is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduisum, which symbolizes triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. We worship Goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu Deity of Prosperity and wealth during this festival.

Diwali without bursting firecrackers is incomplete and an injustice to the festivities, but definitely with utmost safety measures. Purchasing branded firecrackers and storing those in a safe place is of primary importance. As accidents never take permission, before burning the crackers, a bucket of sand and water should be kept handy as a precautionary measure. Crackers should be burst in an open area by wearing tight fitting cotton clothes only. Last but not the least; a first-aid kit must be along in case of any unwanted emergency. To keep the festivities bright and beautiful, celebration should be hand in glove with responsibilities towards one and for all.

Wishing all a very happy, enlightened and safe Diwali.
