Indian Doctors Forum held a Breast Cancer Awareness program

The Indian Doctors Forum held a Breast Cancer Awareness program in this month of October, recognized as the Breast Cancer Awareness month. It was mainly organised, planned and executed by the five lady office members of IDF which was very much appreciated by one and all .

107 lady members from IDF during the past few weeks had self recorded individual video presentation and the same had been professionally edited resulting in the creation of a very informative breast cancer awareness movie. This movie would be uploaded in YouTube shortly the link of which would be circulated to the members of IDF and as well as the public.

The 18 mins trailer video of this beautiful movie was launched on 26/10/2020 through a large virtual platform event which was attended by around 170 participants including the Honorable Ambasador of India, the first lady of Ambassador, lady members of IDF, lady spouses of IDF members and prominent lady personalities within the Indian Community.

The online event was anchored by Dr Anila Albert, the Jt General secretary, IDF and Dr Aarti Chadha, the Web Secretary. It began with a silent prayer followed by the Welcome Address by Dr Sajna Mohammed, the lady Vice President of IDF . The President of IDF, Dr Amir Ahmed delivered the presidential address

Thereafter the Guest of honor His Excellency Sri Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait felicitated the event . This was followed by the launching of the trailer of the Breast Cancer Awareness video by the first lady of Ambassador Madam Joice Sibi George.

The 18 mins trailer was then shown which had captivated the audience creating awareness to all leaving them spell bound. Felicitation speech was delivered by Mr Praveen Kumar Singh, director of finances of Al Mulla group. This was followed by the inspirational and touching testimony of a breast cancer survivor Dr Grace Alex. Dr Ananthapriya Vaidya elaborated on how her mother bravely fought the war against breast cancer.
The program ended with the vote of thanks by Dr Aparna Bhat, the Cultural Secretary of IDF.
