About 200,000 Civil ID cards not yet collected from the PACI machines

The Public Authority for Civil Information PACI is studying a mechanism to remove about 200,000 cards from the vending machines at the PACI headquarters as these are not collected by the owners even after three months it is ready in the machine.

The failure of the owners to collect these cards resulted in accumulation of cards in the device, and this occupies 90% of the device capacity, and this prevents storing of new cards in the device.

Sources also said that the home delivery of Civil ID cards would be optional for an additional fee of two KD, informed sources said quoting Public Authority for Civil Information, PACI. The service is expected to begin in the near future.
