They said she couldn’t do it,
They said she wasn’t worth it.
But when a cry shattered the silence,
On the fateful night,
Little did they know that a legend was born.

Once she was a caged bird,
Now, a blazing phoenix soaring high.

They said she was a burden,
They said she was a bane.
But little did they know that she would become,
Everything they didn’t foresee.

She soared high, higher than ever before,
For she had a dream to prove them wrong.

They said she should be caged,
They said she should be quelled.
But she was set free,
To soar high among the clouds.

She had a dream to rise above all,
And so she became a spark that drew,
Millions to her light that shined,
With the force of the very sun.
