PM Narendra Modi and President Ramnath Kovind condole passing away of His Highness the Amir

Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Today condole the sad demise of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait. India lost a close friend, and H H Amir always took special care of the Indian community in Kuwait, he tweeted in his Twitter account.

"Today, the State of Kuwait and the Arab world has lost a beloved leader, India a close friend, and the world a great statesman. His Highness played a leading role in strengthening our bilateral relations, and always took special care of the Indian community in Kuwait" Narendra Modi tweeted.



"My heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait. In this moment of grief, our thoughts are with the Al-Sabah family and the people of the State of Kuwait," he added.

President of India Sri Ramnath Kovind also tweeted his condolences on the demise of His Highness the Amir.

"Deeply saddened at the demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait. He was a great statesman, humanitarian leader and close friend of India. My condolences to HH’s family, Kuwaiti Govt and its people in this time of grief," Indian president tweeted.



Kerala Chief Minister Sri Pinarayi Vijayan also tweeted his condolences on the sad demise of His Highness the Amir. "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of His Majesty Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait. He was a voice of peace and stability in the region. On behalf of people of Kerala, I offer our deepest condolences," Kerala Chief Minister tweeted.
