ASSP Kuwait Chapter - WISE Committee held a session on "WISE Orientation Meet"

American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Kuwait Chapter as a part of continuous efforts in its professional journey, organized a virtual meeting for its lady members “WISE- (Women in Safety Professional) Orientation Meet” on 17th September 2020 on Zoom Platform.

Dr. Shaikha Al Fajjam – Head of WISE Committee, in her opening remarks welcomed all ladies for this first of its kind of WISE Orientation meet at ASSP KC. Individual lady introduction was held at the beginning of the meeting.

Ms. Janet Najare, Deputy Head of WISE Committee gave an introductory presentation on ‘ASSP KC’ & WISE Committee and its activities that took place earlier. She also explained the benefit of being ASSP KC member & asked the participants to join hands with ASSP KC by encouraging their associates to be part of the WISE team.

Ms. Zahida Farooq, Member of WISE Commitee briefed on the WISE Program Planned for the year 2020 & 2021. The nearest WISE program planned on the topic included ‘Risk & Mental well being during COVID-19’ by Dr. Alanoud Alateeq.

More than 10 women, including ASSP Kuwait Chapter member’s participated in the virtual meet on Zoom platform. The awareness session concluded with vote of thanks by WISE Committee member Ms. Ahlam Ali Abdullah who thanked all the ladies for taking time out from their busy schedule & attending the session & also thanked ASSP KC Chairman & Executive Committee (2020-2021) for giving opportunity to WISE committee to organize this event.
