Indian Doctors Forum elected new committee; Dr Amir Ahmad to lead IDF

Dr Amir Ahmed elected as the president of Indian Doctors Forum, Kuwait. In its meeting held by following the Covid protocol, IDF selected a new committee for the coming year.

Dr Sunil Yadav and Dr Sajna Mohd are the Vice-President. Other committee members include Dr Anila Antony (Jt. Gen Sec), Dr Susovana Sujith (Community Welfare Sec), Dr Aparna Bhat (Cultural Sec), Dr Thomas Koshy (Jt. Cultural Sec), Dr Jaganath (Treasurer), Dr Aarti Chadha (Jt. Web Sec), Dr Asit Mohanty (Jt.Treasurer), Dr Nazim Parkar (Gen Sec), Dr Rajaguru Parmaguru (Web Sec), Dr Shahed Pathan (Membership Sec), Dr Mehboob Khan (Jt. Membership Sec) and Dr Burhan Shabbir (Jt. Community Welfare Sec)

IDF was established in 2004 and is affiliated to the Kuwait Medical Association. IDF has been bestowed with the prestigious Indian National Award - Bharatiya Pravasi Award in 2013 by the then President of India - Late Mr Pranab Mukherjee. With more than 500 Indian Doctors as its member, IDF every year conducts several free medical camps, which benefit a large number of needy community. During Covid, IDF rendered free teleconsultation, counselling and webinars for the benefit of the public.
