Digital Civil ID can be used as a travel document

Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that the Digital Civil ID "Kuwait Mobile App" will be approved as a travel document in all ports to arrive and depart Kuwait.

In a circular send to all Airlines operating at Kuwait Airport said that the based on the instructions of the Health authorities, it is approved to use Digital Civil ID at the ports, airlines, and airports of countries around the world to permit entry to the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed to circulate to its affiliated bodies such as foreign embassies in the country and Kuwaiti embassies abroad, as well as to the Ministry of Interior to allow expats to enter and exit into Kuwait by using my identity application.
