After days of waiting, first flight left to India from Kuwait today

After a long wait of more than three weeks, the flight to India resumed from Kuwait international airport today with the first flight carrying 322 Indians stranded here to Delhi.

The flight, arranged by Al Tayer group and Luxury Travels, left to Delhi today at 10:00 am from Kuwait international airport.

The flight service from Kuwait to India was suspended for several days. On last Sunday, Al Tayer group had announced that they would resume their flights to India from Tuesday. The first flight left to Delhi with 322 passengers. The group is already scheduled their flights to Vijayawada, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Cochin in coming days.

"We are very happy to inform that as promised, our first flight to Delhi left Kuwait Airport today at 10:00 am. We will be arranging more flights to India in coming days," Mr Fahad, CEO of Al Tayer group told.

A Jazeera Airways flight also left to Vijayawada today carrying 162 passengers.

However, as of now, there are no scheduled flights to bring the passengers from India to Kuwait.
