Covid - 19 is an infectious disease that caused tremendous changes in our day to day life. The hardest challenge brought out to the entire human race. As per the recent update 12.5 million people confirmed Corona disease. At the same time 6.89 million recovered, but unfortunately 571 K people lost their life. Apart from these there are a lot of people who face mental, physical problem and crisis. Most of the people lost their job and all the business centers and factories closed. In order to prevent and protect the challenges from the coronavirus and its impacts, the Governments and the World Health Organization take lot of good initiation.

As a part of control the disease the government announced lockdown here in Kuwait.

Corona started in the end of February. It slowly affected the people at first but after March the infection rate became very high.

In this context, the government declared lockdown and curfew in many places in Kuwait. My living place is Jleeb which is most highly populated area. So we faced hundred days of lockdown.

In lockdown our school got closed. I was sad because I could not see my friends, cannot play outside and go for shopping. But for the betterment of the society we obeyed the rules and regulation of the government.

The schools announced Apps like Zoom for online classes. Most of the students like it because it is using gadgets for studies. As a student I learned so much.

As the companies were closed my parents were at home. So we spent a quality family time. I planned a timetable for my routine. My father wrote a poem and me and my brother sang the song and created a musical album. As part of World environment day, I planted micro greens at my home and participated in a competition. I did yoga, which my father taught me. I developed many talents and hobbies. I called my friends and relatives to ask about their health. Also, I started a YouTube channel.

We learned to follow the government rules in lockdown. I read many good story books and novel which my father gave me. The books were interesting.

If we have confidence, we can achieve anything in our life. Lockdown has made my laziness go away.I even attended Youth Empowerment webinar, which was great.

Lockdown has made many changes and challenges in all people, especially in my life. To avoid lockdown boredom, I started learning new things and developed many talents. I also learned how to utilize my time effectively following a routine. It was a period that I am never going to forget in my life.
