Private hospitals urge Council of Minister to exclude medical staff from the ban

The Federation of Private Hospitals in the country appealed to the Council of Ministers to exclude the medical staff from the ban imposed on people to enter Kuwait from several countries.

According to Al-Rai Arabic media, there are about 223 employees working under different specialities, including nursing and technical personnel, in various private medical centres who are stuck abroad and unable to return to Kuwait.

The daily also added that the federation appeal to the Council of Ministers to approve the inclusion of medical, nursing and technical staff working in private sector hospitals by allowing them to return from abroad. Currently, the council of Minister had stopped allowing people to enter Kuwait from 31 countries.

Meanwhile, local media, quoting official sources, confirmed that currently there is no exception for any profession on the ban imposed for people from 31 countries.
