Passenger have full rights for a refund for all cancellation between 14th March till 31st July 2020

The Director-General for Civil Aviation issued a circular saying that passengers have all rights to get a full refund for bookings cancelled due to the closure of Kuwait International Airport as part of the lockdown from 14th March till 31st July 2020. The circular was issued to all airlines, travel and tourism agencies operating from Kuwait.
In a circular, GDCA said that the traveller has the right to request a refund of their purchases including travel tickets, hotel reservations and other tourist services that were cancelled from 14th March to 31st July regardless of the condition of the reservation, whether refundable or non-refundable, without any deduction.
The DGCA had closed the Kuwait International airport from 14th March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The airport will reopen on 1st August with limited services.
