Municipality closes 112 stores in June for violation

Kuwait Municipality closed 112 commercial stores across the country in June for violating the precautionary measures regarding the spread of Coronavirus.

The municipality said in a press statement today that its teams recorded 917 violations and issued 2473 warnings to commercial shops including stores, cafes, salons, restaurants, groceries, central markets, livestock markets and fish shops for violating the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health.

Municipality also informed that it sterilized 456024 containers of different sizes and removed 725 cars dumped in the public area and issued a violation to 479 vehicles violating the parking rules.
