Health staff can return to Kuwait even if their residency expired

Expatriates under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health can enter Kuwait even if their residency is expired. They include the first-degree relatives of health workers, local Arabic daily Al Qabas reported.

According to the report, more than 1000 health personnel, who are employed as doctors, nurse, radiology technicians and laboratories under MoH have stranded abroad, most of them from India.

The Ministry of Health facilitates the entry of medical cadres who travelled to their countries before the Corona pandemic and were unable to return with the closure of air traffic in mid-March, explaining that this step aims to support the medical cadres currently working in the country.
