Kuwait Airways to begin service from August 1st

Kuwait Airways announced that it will start its commercial operations to various destinations starting from August 1st.

The airline, through its Twitter handle, announced its customers to follow the reservation channels of Kuwait Airways or the approved travel agents for more information and make the reservations.

Earlier the Supreme Committee for the Re-operation of Commercial operation has adopted a protocol of the Ministry of Health on various health controls and requirements for departure and arrivals at Kuwait International Airport.

Arrival:
The passenger arriving at Kuwait International airport are required to obtaining PCR certificate, proving that they are free from corona infection. They also have to sign a commitment to abide by the Ministry of Health instructions, whether in institutional or home quarantine. The airline will also perform a random PCR examination on 10% of the passengers in each flight. Passenger temperature will be checked before boarding and upon arrival. Compliance with health requirements, such as wearing masks and gloves are mandatory.

Departure:

An accredited health laboratory will be set up under the direction of the Ministry of Health at Kuwait International Airport. The passengers departing from Kuwait International Airport can obtain a health certificate issued by the Ministry of Health if required by the country where he is travelling. The passenger needs to pay a fee for this certificate. Providing health certificates for passengers will be the responsibility of the ground services companies at Kuwait International Airport. Adherence to health requirements such as wearing masks and gloves and adherence to social distance is mandatory.
