IndiGo to operate 219 repatriation flights from Kuwait in phase 4; Total 260 flights to India

The Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) Sunday said IndiGo will operate 219 flights from Kuwait in Phase 4 of the Vande Bharat Mission (VBM). In a series of tweets, the ministry said Vande Bharat Mission enters Phase 4 on July 3. "Private airlines have volunteered for significant participation in this phase with 498 flights to be operated by them. These numbers may go up further," the MoCA tweeted.

Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs had announced the list of 41 Go Air flights from Kuwait to India in Phase 4. With the addition of 219 IndiGo flights, the total number of flights from Kuwait to India for phase 4 will be 260.

The schedule of 219 IndiGo flights is not yet released while the GoAir schedule is already published in our earlier report.
