Residency transfer, Vehicle ownership transfer from Tuesday

In compliance with the Council of Ministers regarding the safe return to normal life in stages, Ministry of the Interior will return to work from Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Efforts are being made by the Ministry of Interior to limit the spread of the epidemic and maintain the safety of citizens and residents.

MoI announced that procedures such as First-time residency and transfer of residency from one sponsor to another will be conducted at Ministry offices starting from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the traffic department informed that issuing of new driving licenses for those who have passed the driving test, Vehicle renewal, Transferring vehicle ownership and Paying traffic violations can be done at the offices.

A prior appointment will be needed by booking it online through the www.moi.gov.kw website starting from Sunday for all services.

Authorities also informed that anyone who visits the ministries should adhere to the preventive health instructions and maintain social distancing by wearing face masks while visiting the ministry offices.
