688 new cases and 617 recoveries in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health announced, Saturday, 688 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 44,391. Deaths reached 344 with the addition of 3 fatalities.

The latest cases include 444 Kuwaiti citizens and 244 Non-Kuwaitis.

In the last 24 hours, 617 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 34,586.

Oyoun Area reported 36 cases, Riqqa 33, Jaber Al Ali 31, Saad Abdulla 30, Abdalli 29 and farwaniya 28 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 9,461 patients.
