FAIPS(DPS) Student Honoured by Apple

It is an honor to present one of the young minds, Mishaal Kandapath a class XII student of FAIPS DPS Kuwait who made it to Apple's Swift Student Challenge as a coder and became the only winner from Kuwait and one among four winners from Middle East.

The challenge was launched to allow and encourage pupils to showcase their budding talents in Coding as a part of Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC).

During the competition, the participants were asked to create a three-minute interactive scene in a Swift playground. The submissions were judged based on technical accomplishment, creativity of ideas and content of written responses Coding has always been one of these interests that have stayed with Mishaal. He developed an app called FreeLearn, which will help students learn Swift in a more practical way.

On behalf of the management, staff and students of FAIPS, the Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli extended a hearty congratulation to Mishaal and his family for his commendable achievement. In order to encourage coding among students, Mr. Ravi said that the school is planning some summer holiday activities.
