562 new cases while 1,473 recovered in last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health announced, Thursday, 526 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 29,921. Deaths reached 236 with the addition of 6 fatalities.

The latest cases include 177 Kuwaiti citizens, 99 residents from India, 86 from Bangladesh and 84 from Egypt, among other nationalities, he elaborated.

In the last 24 hours, 1473 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 17,223.

Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh residential area reported 30 cases, Farwaniya 36, Khaitan 28, Mahboulla 32, Mangaf 26 and Abdalli 23 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 12,462 patients.
