887 new cases while 1,382 recovered in last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health announced, Tuesday, 887 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 28,649. Deaths reached 226 with the addition of 6 fatalities.

The latest cases include 314 Kuwaiti citizens, 201 residents from India, 96 from Bangladesh and 115 from Egypt, among other nationalities, he elaborated.

In the last 24 hours, 1382 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 14,281.

Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh residential area reported 76 cases, Farwaniya 74, Abdali 39, Khaitan 42, Waha 36 and Mangaf 38 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 14,142 patients.
