719 new cases while 1,513 recovered in last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health announced, Monday, 719 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 27,762. Deaths reached 220 with the addition of 8 fatalities.

The latest cases include 265 Kuwaiti citizens, 156 residents from India, 48 from Bangladesh and 104 from Egypt, among other nationalities, he elaborated.

In the last 24 hours, 1513 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 12,899.

Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh residential area reported 45 cases, Farwaniya 57, Abdali 39, Mahboulla 42, Salmiya 37 and Mangaf 31 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 14,643 patients.
