1008 new cases and 11 death in last 24 hours

Kuwait Ministry of Health on Saturday announced 1008 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 26192, while 11 deaths were reported raising the number of fatalities to 205.

The latest cases include 287 Kuwaiti citizens, 229 residents from India, 133 from Bangladesh and 171 from Egypt, among other nationalities, he elaborated.

In the last 24 hours, 883 cases were recovered making the total recovery to 10,156.

Farwaniya residential area reported 92 cases, Abdali 67, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 81 and Hawally reported 62 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 15,831 patients.
