Kuwait Airways terminate service of 1500 expats

Kuwait's national carrier Kuwait Airways will be terminating the service of 1500 expatriate employees, the company announced.
Kuwait Airways, on Thursday, announced that, in response to the emerging crisis of the Corona virus, and its negative impact on its commercial operation, it decided to lay off about 1500 non-Kuwaiti employees, working in various sectors, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to remedy the economic effects of the crisis.
Kuwait Airways, in its twitter, posted thanks and appreciation to all the employees for their effort they exerted during their period of their work in the company.
The company said that the impact of the emerging corona virus on the aviation industry is expected to continue.
