692 new cases and 640 recoveries today

Kuwait today recorded 692 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, while Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah confirmed recovery of 640 patients.

The total corona virus infection in the country reached 23,267 and the total number of recoveries so far reached 7,946.

In the last 24 hours, country also recorded 3 new death bringing the total deaths hit 175.

Today's cases includes 178 Kuwaiti Citizens, 165 Indians, 94 Egyptians and 95 Bangladeshi residents.

Farwaniya residential area reported 58 cases, Abdali 51, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 46 and Mangaf reported 45 cases.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 15,146 patients, said the spokesperson, adding that a number of 2,738 swabs were taken in the last 24 hours.
