Kuwait reports 838 new cases and 8 death on Sunday

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Sunday recording 838 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours, raising toll of contamination cases to 21,302 since outbreak of the contagion in the Gulf state.

The ministry also reported 8 new deaths from the virus increasing total number of fatalities resulting from the contagious disease to 156.

This includes 260 Indians, 134 Kuwaiti Citizens, 125 Egyptians and 86 Bangladeshi residents.

Farwaniya residential area reported 124 cases, while Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh reported 77, Khaitan 74 and Hawalli reported 44 cases.

Earlier, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of 370 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total recovery to 6117.
