9 death and 955 new coronavirus infections in Kuwait

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Friday recording 955 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours, raising toll of contamination cases to 19,564 since outbreak of the contagion in the Gulf state.

The ministry also reported 9 new deaths from the virus increasing total number of fatalities resulting from the contagious disease to 138.

This includes 319 Indians, 196 Egyptians, 139 Kuwaiti Citizens and 111 Bangladeshi residents.

Farwaniya residential area reported 119 cases, while Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh reported 77, Khaitan 67 and Salmiya 66 cases

Earlier, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of 310 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total recovery to 5,515.
