Kuwait Airport is preparing for commercial flights

Kuwait International Airport is preparing to restart the airline traffic at any time in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities, Arabic newspaper Al-Rai reported.

According to report, the General Administration of Civil Aviation asked various departments to prepare matters related to the gradual restart of commercial flights, and to ensure the readiness of equipment and work systems.

Meanwhile, Al-Qabas daily reported that the operation will be partial in the beginning, with the implementation of strict measures on social distancing, preventing the gathering of travelers, and not to touch the counters and electronic check for boarding and baggage.

Daily added, quoting sources that the airport is ready and awaiting the decision of the Council of Ministers to start functioning.
