Bhavans Middle East organizes Parivar 2020, the first Family Meet

Call it a temple of learning, call it an educational network, call it a unique hub of opportunities, or call it a family: whatever one calls it, the feelings of unity, love and pride one experiences, being part of it, knows no bounds. This very thought about Bhavans Middle East incessantly takes up space in the hearts of each and every one associated with Bhavans.

On May 16, 2020 the close-knit family of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Middle East organized Parivar 2020, a special meet for more than 700 Bhavanites in the whole Middle East, on a virtual platform and created memorable moments. The prime purpose of the meet was to keep the Bhavans Parivar closely and firmly united.

The family meet was organized in the presence of Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice Chairman of Bhavans Middle East and Mrs. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director of Bhavans Middle East along with the Senior Leadership Teams of all the Bhavans schools in the Middle East.
The first session of the meet was from 2.00 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. for the teachers of Grades 7 to 12 and the second session was from 3.00 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. for the teachers of Kindergarten to Grade 6 and Office and Administrative Staff.

‘Parivar 2020’ started off with the maxim “A family that prays together stays together’. Ms. Nisha Madhu of Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai rendered the prayer song. Mrs. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director of Bhavans Middle East then warmly welcomed the online gathering. The young and dynamic director’s joy knew no bounds while welcoming the whole Bhavans family together in a single frame. She introduced the members of the Senior Leadership Teams of all the BME schools in the order of the schools’ inception. She formally welcomed the youngest member, Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai and its staff into the Bhavans Middle East family on behalf of the elder members of the family.

The ‘Parivar’ applauded as each Principal introduced the other to the family. The Principals Mr. T. Premkumar, Mr. Mahesh Iyer and Mrs. Rathi Ravindran (Bhavans Kuwait), Mr. Saji Jacob, Bhavans, Bahrain, Mrs. Girija Baiju, Bhavans Abu Dhabi, Mrs. Indu Panicker Bhavans, Ajman, Dr. Bhavana Gupta, Dr. Nanadakumar, Bhavans Alain then addressed the gathering, and they reminisced about their most memorable days with Bhavans. Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East whom the Bhavans family addressed as the Head of the Family wished his family members the very best in their endeavours. Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice Chairman of Bhavans Middle East expressed his delightful contentment in having got the rare opportunity to meet the entire family in one frame.

The meeting drew to a close, with the thought “Not nine nuclear but one jovial joint family”. With the euphoria of joyful moments still lingering in their minds the Bhavans Parivar comprising more than seven hundred members parted with the earnest desire to meet again.
