There Is always a time of the year when the soul is cleansed, the body is purified, and the mind is pure and free from any contamination. This time of the year can be defined as a peaceful, heart-warming and amazing time of the year which people bound to enjoy. People around the world have diverse choices for such times. Be its summer, winter, spring or any particular festival. But I strongly believe that this type of immense purification is obtained during the period of Ramadan.

Ramadan, a time of peace, is a month-long celebrated time of the year where people fast for the benefit of the body. All though voluntary practiced by Muslims across the globe, fasting during this time is also observed by many other people across the globe. It is a time, where people give up their basic necessities called food to rinse out their body.

Fasting is not only a period where a person does not consume food or liquids for the whole day, rather it is a period where one refrain from all types of harmful activities. After studying the Sharee’ah (revelation), fasting can be concluded as a period come on up stains from deeds such as lying back biting and spreading rumours. Therefore, it is not only abstaining from eating what makes us to fast, it is a period the truly purifies all the bad thoughts in one’s heart. Such the significance of Ramadan.

The period of Ramadan does not occur in one time of the year every time. Since it occurs on the basis of the lunar calendar, slowly seems to be coming backward in time every year. This year, by God grace, we're hoping to see Ramadan come from the latter part of April an end in May.

Every Ramadan people try to keep themselves at home and do the good things in life. However, Ramadan is not only to stay at home and lock oneself up. Rather, it can be considered a time where one can enjoy from the bottom of his heart.

This Ramadan, there are a lot of fun things that a person can do. Food is not the only thing that enlighten one’s heart. It is not only at time to abstain from consuming, but also it is a time of complete enjoyment. This year, Utilise the Ramadan Holidays with your family by exploring the world around you. Use this opportunity, to bring out the hidden colours of the country we live in.

Well even if you fast for the amazing biryani or the different type of snacks you get to eat during breaking the fast, this time don't forget to add a little bit of enjoyment into it. This period of Ramadan shall be enjoyed by all of us and hopefully we shall experience a heart-warming time.
To everyone in advance, ‘Ramadan Kareem’
