Kuwait prepares temporary halls at airport to check incoming citizens; 2nd phase repatriation starts next week

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works announced the start of preparing temporary halls at the Kuwait International Airport for receiving and examination of citizens expected to return from abroad as part of the evacuation flights due to the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic emerging (Covid 19) Globally.

It is expected to complete the process of preparing these halls within 48 hours and then hand them over it to the General Administration of Civil Aviation.

The ongoing implementation work includes soil leveling, skimming and layering of asphalt layers as well On the installation of flooring for halls.

The implementation of the second phase of the nationals repatriation plan will begin next week. The first phase included 2,710 citizens, with 15 trips from 11 countries, from 25 to 29 March
