Women arrested for sharing photo of security-men on duty

The Cyber crime department arrested a woman for taking pictures of security-men on duty during partial curfew and posting a video clip in the social media.

According to Arabic newspaper, the case has been recorded at the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station. Report added that the clip was made as the security-men passed from in front of her house.

The woman has been referred for investigation after filing a phone abuse case against her.

Kuwait have strict rules and regulations for the use of social media. Earlier authorities had registered several charges against admin of various social media accounts for publishing unverified news and rumors on social media. Public are advised to follow the rules and regulations laid out by the authorities.
