Banks in Kuwait postpone repayments of loans for 6 month

Major banks in Kuwait announced that they will postpone all payments of installments on consumer loans, installments and credit cards for a period of 6 months due to the extra ordinary situation in the country.

National Bank of Kuwait NBK informed that the installments of consumer loans and credit cards are postponed for six months for all NBK Customers including citizen and expats. All interests, and fees arising from this postponement will be waived.

Commercial Bank, Burgan Bank, Warba Bank and KFH also made similar announcements.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait Banking Association warns the public about fraud messages and calls impersonating as your bank and asking for your account details claiming to postpone your installments. KBA informed that banks will never ask for your account details to get the benefits of the postponement of loan repayment .
