MOH confirms 13 new cases of Coronavirus; Total reaches 208, 6 Recoveries

The Ministry of Health Thursday announced that it recorded 13 new cases of the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the number of cases registered in the country so far to 208 cases.

2 Cases of Citizens related to travel to Saudi Arabia, 2 Cases of Citizens related to travel to Egypt, 1 Case of a Citizen related to travel to France, 1 Case of a Citizen under investigation, 2 Cases of Citizens who were in contact with confirmed traveled to Saudi Arabia, 2 Cases who were in contact with confirmed traveled to Azerbaijan (1 Citizen + 1 resident ), 1 Case of a Citizen who was in contact with Confirmed traveled to the United Kingdom, 1 Case of Egyptian resident who was in contact with Confirmed Filipino resident and 1 Case of Somalian resident who was in contact with Confirmed Somalian resident.

Earlier, the Kuwaiti Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said six people recovered from the novel coronavirus, raising the country's total recoveries to 49. The freshly treated cases are all Kuwaiti citizens - three males and three females, the minister told KUNA, noting that lab tests and analyses had shown their recovery.

The Ministry of Health renewed the call for the citizens and residents to abide by all the decisions and recommendations issued by the official authorities in the country and the recommendations of the World Health Organization and to adopt a social divergence strategy to reduce the chances of infection and the spread of infection between contacts and contain and eliminate the spread of the Corona virus.
