The Loudest Appeal-Silence

A word untold pierces through the heart

Where spoken lines in ears don’t even start

To make their way through paths of brain’s strides,

Silence maneuvers to the soul and hides.

A streak of sorrow penetrates the thoughts.

Appeals higher than floods, lower than droughts.

Beyond a point it leaves you asunder.

To limits, you feel your life’s a blunder.

A sentiment of joy leaves you gliding

Horses-of-delight you keep on riding.

Then ecstatic voices reverberate in your mind.

Those happy moments you try to catch and rewind.

Speech in anger makes one sulk in regret.

While velvet silence cakes the matter set.

All issues get solved, everyone will follow you

Don’t waste your words for them, a silent glance will do.
