Indian Ambassador appeal all Indians to abide by local regulations; ensure social distancing and avoid non-essential visit to Embassy

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait K Jeeva Sagar today appealed all Indian community members living in Kuwait to respect and abide by all the relevant health, social and other regulations being put in place by the Kuwait Government.

In his letter to the community members, Ambassador said that we are fortunate to be residing in this country and Kuwait has taken commendable efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait continues to remain functional as before, but in compliance with the local regulations concerning COVID-19. However, he appealed the Indians to postpone any non-essential visit to the Embassy. He also urges people to avoid crowding at the Embassy and depend more on the telephonic and email enquiries.

Ambassador also urge people to follow the social distancing, which seems to be the most effective way of defeating the virus, in addition to maintain personal hygiene.

On behalf of the Indian Community living in Kuwait, Ambassador K Jeeva Sagar expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Kuwaiti leadership. He also expressed solidarity with the efforts Kuwait has been making to contain the spread of corona virus.
