Woman's honor has been given great importance in Indian culture. There is a verse in Sanskrit- 'Yasya Pujyante Naaryastu Tatr Ramante Devataha'

That is, where the woman is worshiped, the gods reside there. As you all know international women's day is celebrated every year on 8th of March to dedicate to the honoring the achievements of women throughout history and all across the globe, and is typically a day for women from all different backgrounds and cultures to band together to fight for gender parity and women's rights.

It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

A women plays many roles in one life ; she is a daughter , a sister , a wife , a mother and what not? She can also be called a multitasker .

Women have infinite power and abilities. She has set records in all areas of the business world. On the basis of her amazing courage, tireless hard work and visionary intelligence, she has managed to make her mark on the globe. Many women filled with emotions like human compassion, gratitude , motherhood and their personality have contributed to the construction of the era.

Indira Gandhi , India's first female Prime Minister ; Kiran Bedi , India's first I.P.S. Officer ; Mary Kom , an outstanding boxer - being a mother, she has won medals at the World Amateur Boxing Championships five times and other women like Simone de Beauvoir, Rosa Parks , Kalpana Chawla, Sunita William, Bachendri Pal have made a different picture in society.

An international level Diana , she was popular for her natural sympathy with the poor and disenfranchised.

Benazir Bhut The first female prime minister,She helped to move Pakistan from a dictatorship to democracy.

Hilary Clinton US politician who became the first women to run for the office of US president for a major political party.

Malala Yousafzai Pakistani schoolgirl who defied threats of the Taliban to campaign for the right to education.

Greta Thunberg Swedish schoolgirl who has become a global leader for environmental issues and leading protests against global warming.

Their achievements have not only inspired me but also many others to work harder, to be better and to make a dent wherever we can . But on the other side it is a picture that women are neither safe before birth nor after birth.

For such reasons we need a CHANGE.
?Firstly, the thinking of the society
?Secondly, the system or the government should be strong .

I am especially proud and inspired by all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up for their rights. I want to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they had children to feed , bills to pay and dreams to pursue . They are the women whose names we will never know ;they are domestic workers and farm workers, they are working in factories and they work in restaurants and they are in academia in engineering and medicine and science ,they are a part of the world of tech and politics and business ,there are athletes in the Olympics and there are soldiers in the military . As we all have lived in a culture broken by brutally powerful men, for too long women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men ….but their time is up . So I want every girl and every woman to know that a new day is on the horizon and when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women and some pretty phenomenal men fighting hard to make sure they become the leaders who take us to the time when no women ever has to say that she has been denied rights or education or any basic necessity again .

Wishing everyone
Happy international women's day .
