PCR Medical certificate mandatory for all passengers coming from India from March 8th

The Director General of Civil Aviation issued a circular making it mandatory carrying a PCR medical certificate for all passengers arriving from India, Philippines, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Georgia, and Lebanon to the State of Kuwait confirming that they are free from Corona virus.

The PCR certificate must be issued from health centers approved by the Kuwait Embassy in their countries. This will be applied starting from March 8th.

According to the circular, if any expat passenger is not carrying the PCR certificate, the passenger will be send back to their originating country. The airline will also be fined for carrying passenger to Kuwait without PCR certificate. However, Kuwaiti citizen will be exempted from this decision and they will be subjected to Medical check at Kuwait Airport on arrival.
