Kuwait born Adline Castelino crowned Miss Diva Universe 2020

Kuwait Born Adline Castelino won the prestigious Miss Diva Universe 2020 and was crowned by Miss Universe India 2019 Vartika Singh at a glittering 8th edition of Miss Diva held at Mumbai. The event was judged by Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta, designers Shivan and Narresh, Miss Supranational 2014 Asha Bhat, Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 Jacqueline Fernandes, designer Nikhil Mehra and designer Gavin Miguel. Malaika Arora hosted the grand finale.

Adline will be representing India at Miss Universe platform to be held later this year.

Adline Castelino, hails from Udupi, Karnataka was born in Kuwait to Mr Alphonsus, who works at White Store and Mrs Meera Castelino, works at Hellmann worldwide Logistics, Kuwait. She did her schooling at the Indian Central School Kuwait and at age of 15, Castelino returned to India and moved to Mumbai, where she attended secondary school at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She later began attending Wilson College, Mumbai, where she graduated with a degree in business administration. She is a model and works with VSP, an organization that works towards sustainable livelihood for farmers to curb farmer suicides and inequality.

During the contest's sports round held in Bennett University, she won the 'Miss Smasher' award, for her performance in badminton. She believes that it is a miracle that she is getting an opportunity to represent the country on an international stage and calls it a dream come true.
