MoI to regulate two wheeler traffic

Ministry of Interior has addressed Ministry of Commerce and Industry about the temporary suspension of issuance of licenses for ‘delivery’ of consumers products, transportation of goods, and all other activities related to the General Traffic Department until the conditions and regulations that organize such activities are reviewed and finalized, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Ministry of Interior has future plans to regulate the traffic of all types of motorbikes, report added. There is also an
ongoing coordination with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) to allocate bicycle lanes in new areas, daily added.
