Balavedi Kuwait celebrated Republic Day

Balavedi Kuwait, the creative venue of Malayalee Children's society in Kuwait, celebrated the Republic Day in all its four-zone of Kuwait on the occasion of India's 71st Republic Day. In the present-day scenario when the secularism in India is challenged, the introduction page of the Indian Constitution was read as a part of the program, reminding the importance of protecting the Constitution.

In addition to that, Public meeting, Documentary exhibition, Speech competition, Fancy dress competition, Poetry recitation contest, Quiz competition, Story-telling contest, Patriotic song competition and many varieties of Art competitions which were all conducted by children themselves were also held as a part of the program. KALA Kuwait President Jyotish Cherian inaugurated the celebrations in Abbasiya, Salmiya and Fahaheel zone. Kala Kuwait Joint Secretary Asaf Ali inaugurated the programs in Abu Halifa region. Prizes for the various art competitions were distributed by the Central- Regional committee members of KALA Kuwait and Balavedi Patronage Committee members. Children from Balavedi Kuwait, Office bearers of KALA Kuwait and Balavedi Patronage Committee members led the activities.
