RSC Kuwait Organizes 11th Edition National ‘Sahithyolsav’

Risala Study Circle (RSC) is celebrating its 11th Edition Art & Literary festival titled ‘Sahithyolsav’ on Friday, 7th February 2020 at Najath Boys School, Salmiya between 9 am to 9 pm. The event will be inaugurated by prominent personalities at 9:00 am. More than 500 participants including students from five Central in Kuwait will be competing in various items on four separate stages.

Various competitions such as group songs, mappilapaattu, elocution, painting, language games, mathematical puzzles, maduhu songs, qawali, duff demonstrations, Quran recitations, spot magazines, collage etc for primary, junior, secondary, senior and general categories will be held on the day. Demonstration of traditional ‘mappila arts’ would be held on stages 1 and 2 from 1 pm onwards. Sahithyolsav held by RSC have been branded as a mega traditional art & cultural event across 6 Gulf countries.

Unit, sector and central level competitions were completed by third week of January and accordingly, the best in class performers of all five central would be competing at National level Sahithyolsav on 7 February 2020. Various committees have been formed for the successful completion of the event and special arrangements have also been made for ladies and children. Leading Literary figure, thinker and speaker KEN Kunhahammed will be the chief gust in the closing ceremony, which will be commenced at 7:30 pm. The organizers said in the press conference.

I.C.F. Kuwait National Committee Secretary Abdulla Vadakara, Secretary Abu Muhammed, RSC Gulf Council member Aboobacker Sidheeq, RSC National Chairman Abdul Rasheed Mongam, General Convener Shihab Vaniyannoor, Kalalayam Convener Shihab Varam and Media Convenor Haris Puratheel were also present during the press conference.
