“Maa tujhe salam.” As the name depicts it's our tribute to our motherland. Our home country is as dear as our mother. Especially in our country India everything including land, water bodies are treated with respect like how we respect our mother.

So how do we pay tribute to our motherland? There are many ways in which we do this. Our ancestors of centuries ago paid their tribute by preserving our culture and protecting the country from invaders. The next generation showed their love towards our motherland by fighting against the invaders like the Mughal and the Turks by not allowing to capture more territory. Patriotism runs in the blood of every Indian or to aptly say Bharatian or Hindustani; as those India was known as Bharat or Hindustan.

Our elders during the 19th and major part of the 20th century had to sacrifice their lives to protect our motherland from the British rule. India is the only country to have attained independence by following the principles of non-violence. They sacrificed their lives so we can have a peaceful future.

The current generation, that is us have not understood what freedom is. We have not used the freedom we have got in a fruitful manner. We actually don’t understand the sacrifice of our ancestors and have started to take things lightly. This is displayed in the way we behave in the public domain.

We don’t even think about our country even on days like Independence Day, republic day etc., We are more obsessed with “SOCIAL MEDIA” rather than “SOCIAL SERVICE”. Helping the needy around us is the need of the day. This is one way of us paying tribute to our country. We can also pay tribute by keeping the country clean like by adopting the swatch Bharath principles. We can pay tribute to our country even by doing our responsibilities correctly, for example being a good student, good parent, good citizen, good politician and ultimately being a good human being.

“The Earth is our mom!!” We all have heard about this quote. As a citizen of India, we all take initiatives for the betterment of our country. As a family, we do practice many activities which have helped to make this country a better place to live in. We have collected money in many associations and given the money as charity. We have also used this money for improving the medical facilities of the poor people in India. We plant trees on occasions like Vanmahotsav, world environment day etc... We have also done beach cleaning.

Not everyone needs to be joined the armed forces to pay tribute to the country. We can do this by performing small things in our capacity for the betterment of our country.

JAI HIND!!!
BHARAT MATA KI JAY!!!!
