Kuwait Based Businessman Sami P Venkatachalapathi honored with "Uzhaga Thamizhar Maamani" Award

Chennai Global Economic Summit 2019 and Six World Tamil Economic Summit 2019 was successfully conducted by Madras Development Society and World Tamil Economic Foundation from 28th December 2019 to 30th December 2019 in Hotel Le Royal Méridien Chennai.

In this world summit, Mauritius Former President His Excellency Dr. Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory, South Africa’s Kwazulu Finance Minister Hon’ble Ravi Pillai, Telungana Governor Hon’ble Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan, Tami Nadu Minister for Industries Hon’ble M.C Sampath, Puducherry Minister of Revenue and Industry Mr. Shahjahan, Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India Mr. Murthy, and Judges, IAS officers and severable Tamil Nadu Government Officials and more than 500 entrepreneurs from all over the world have participated.

The conference was addressed by a number of scholars on global business and investment. Dr. V.R.S. Sampath, President - Madras Development Society and Founder - World Tamil Economic Foundation has delivered the world summit report.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, Tamil Nadu Governor, Hon’ble Banwarilal Purohit gives away “Uzhaga Thamizhar Maama?i” award to 10 achievers from different countries of the world. Among the recipients of this award, Kuwait transportation company M/s Al Maha Star General Trading for Equipment & Vehicles, Managing Director Mr. Sami P Venkat @ P. Venkatachalapathi was honored with “Uzhaga Thamizhar Maama?i” for one of the successful business personality in Tamil Community.

Mr. Sami P Venkat @ P. Venkatachalapathi is owning and managing the world class Hotel, Marriage Hall and Residential Apartment in Arantangi, Tamil Nadu, India. Despite being an entrepreneur, he always engages himself in public services and philanthropy. He is the Founder of Kuwait Paari Vallal Friends Association and through this helping poor Tamil community in India. He is also actively involved in Kuwait Tamil Sangam in delivering social and public welfare activities for Tamil and Tamil community in Kuwait. This summit was attended by 10 entrepreneurs from Kuwait City including Mr. Thimmarayan Gopal.
