“KIPS DIVES INTO READING” – READING WEEK CELEBRATION

Kids International Preschool organized its Annual “Reading week” from 2nd December’19 till 12th December’19. The theme for this year was “KIPS dives into reading” which signifies the importance of reading and how it can transport us to a different world be it realistic or imaginative. To stress on the same point we set up the reading room for the event.The School Director of IISM Mr.Malayil Moosa Koya shared his love for reading and writing and educated the tiny tots on how the knowledge derived from books is a source to increase ones imagination, creativity, intelligence and vocabulary.

The week long activity commenced with the tiny tots creating their own story in ‘cuddle up with a good book’. Students filled the “Graffiti Wall” with words, phrases and quotes of their choice. Memorable moments of the tiny tots were creatively displayed in the form of a story book in “Make your own book” which was authored and illustrated by the tiny tots. Every participant performed well in “Question yourself?” – a quiz, which encouraged and motivated them to bring out their confidence, inner potential, talent and creativity in their speech. On “Read my shirt day” our tiny buddies dressed up in unique T- Shirt’s with their favorite slogans printed on them.

The entire week comprised of activities that was illuminating, filled with fun, education and zest for curiosity.This would not have been possible without the support and guidance of the Principal Mrs.Nilofar Qazi and Vice Principal Mrs.Gayathri Bhaskaran who are always rendering help wherever and whenever necessary.KIPS teachers who were the ambassadors of this event decorated the venue which stimulated the thought waves of our tiny tots, ending in success stories and accomplishments.Admin Manager Mrs.Najiyah Khader appreciated the efforts of teachers and students. Kudos to parents who motivated and encouraged our tiny buddies for actively participating in all the activities.
