Billava Sangha Kuwait Conducted its 7th Annual General Body Meeting on 6th December 2019

The 7thAnnual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Billava Sangha Kuwait was held on 6th December 2019, at the Dhoom Auditorium, Abuhalifa Block-1, Kuwait.
The event commenced with Guru Shloka followed by the lighting of lamp by the President Mr. Krishna Poojary and members of Management & Advisory Committee.
President, Mr. Krishna Poojary in his welcome speech appreciated all the committee members for working with unity towards the upliftment of the Community.
General Secretary Mr. Raghav Poojary presented the Annual Report mentioning the activities carried out in the Year 2019 and briefed about the Constitution amendment, while the Treasurer Mr. Venugopal read out the financial report for the year 2019, both of which were approved by the members.
President, Mr. Krishna Poojary honored the members with flowers who contributed in different ways to the success of Billava Chavadi function, which took place on 20th Sept 2019.
Welfare Officer, Mr. Prabhakar Bola spoke about the Scholarship Programme & other welfare activities conducted during the Year 2019.
During AGM, kids competition (Coloring /Drawing /Speech /Pick & Speak) was held for the members to bring out the best talent in them in the following categories. Materials for coloring and drawing competition were provided by M/s Manoj Drawing Class. The competition was fairly judged by the judges Mr. Sudhir Kumar, Mr. Vishwanath Shetty, Mr. Manoj Kumar & Ms. Shilpa Chandrashekar.

In addition to the competition, BSK members exhibited their talent by performing dance, singing & skit which added more flavor to the event.

Skit: Raghu Poojary, Mamtha Sandeep, Sujeet, Manoj, Rakesh, Gautham, Prapthi, Sarita, Gireesh and Ghanshyam.
Individuals luck was examined by playing a unique game called “Wheel of Fortune”, wherein Mr. Yadav Poojary, Mr. Gautham Suvarna and Ms. Asha Kunder were lucky to win the gold coins.

Mr. Raghu C Poojary, Mr. Manoj Kumar and Mr. Chitrek Bangera will be in the advisory Committee for the year 2020.
Re-elected President Mr. Krishna Poojary addressed the gathering and requested the full cooperation from all the Committee members in fulfilling his duties towards the Sangha.
