Pravasi Legal Cell - Kuwait chapter launched under the patronage of HE Sheikh Duaij Al Khalifa Al Sabah

Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Duaij Al Khalifa Al Sabah, Kuwait chapter of Pravasi legal cell is launched in Kuwait to support the migrant workers for their legal support.

Pravasi Legal Cell, PLC, is registered organisation in India with retired Supreme Court and high court judges, practicing lawyers, social activist, academicians and public spirited citizen of India to empower people with the power of law.

Launching of PLC Kuwait Chapter witnessed a galaxy of eminent personalities including HE Sheikh Duaij Al Khalifa Al Sabah, PLC Global president nd Advocate of Supreme Court of India Mr Jose Abraham, Mr Khalid Al-Mutairi, Dr Sabah Y Almansour, Lawyer Jabber Jassim AlFadalah - legal expert, Lawyer Nasar Al Ajmi, Dr ibrahim Al Moosa, Lawyer Yousef Al Mutairi, Mr Abdul Aziz, Indian Doctors Forum President Dr Surendra Naik and many other dignitaries.

Pravasi Legal Cell Kuwait Chapter president Mr Babu Francis welcomed the audience. "PLC Kuwait Chapter will soon sign an MoU with legal Director Centre Kuwait for mutual cooperation", Mr Babu Francis said. General Secretary Mr Biju Stephen introduced the activities of PLC Kuwait chapter. Mrs Shiny Frank coordinated the program.

PLC will provide competent legal aid to Indians working abroad who cannot afford the process of getting due justice, officials told. A Number of committed lawyers on PLC Panel will provide free legal aid and legal counselling to common man in various judicial forums in India.

Currently PLC having chapters in different countries and states in India. Former Chief Justice of Indian Justice KG Balakrishnan and Former Supreme court judge Justice Kurien Jospeh are the p[patrons of PLC.
